Hey there young man. If you look down in the lower right-hand corner of this photo, you will see yourself standing there.
You’re the one in the bright blue shoes. I’m the one in the black t-shirt corralling you. The guy in the black tank top is Mike. The guy in the green UM t-shirt is Josh.
This is a photo of your first time hanging out at Barracuda. It’s a historic bar in our Coconut Grove neighborhood. You had an absolute blast as did my friends and I.
Now some folks might say that taking you to a bar is not good parenting behavior, but I would disagree, and here’s why:
- Barracuda is technically a bar and restaurant, and you absolutely loved their chicken fingers!
- The place was empty besides us, so you had the run of the place and were very safe
- You got an opportunity to see people laughing, smiling, relaxing, and generally having some good clean fun (something I highly recommend you do as much as possible in your life)
- I didn’t have a drop of alcohol the whole time, which shows that you don’t have to drink to have a good time (although you do need some in order to play the game Mike & Josh where playing)
